Genji Siraisi is a drummer, composer, co-producer and founding member of the Grammy-nominated New York City band, Groove Collective. Founded in the early 1990s in the undergeround dance club scene, the band draws from many styles and influences: jazz, Latin, hip hop, house, and rock.
In 2007, they were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album for the release People People Music Music on the Savoy Jazz label.
